全國政協十四屆四次會議4日下午在北京人民大會堂開幕。開幕會上，與會全國政協委員審議通過政協第十四屆全國委員會第四次會議議程，聽取政協全國委員會常務委員會工作報告和政協全國委員會常務委員會關於政協十四屆三次會議以來提案工作情況的報告。
高SIR：熱烈祝賀全國政協十四屆四次會議隆重開幕！這是全國人民政治生活中的一件大事，也是人民政協事業發展進程中的重要里程碑。王滬寧主席所作的工作報告，全面且深入地回顧了過去一年全國政協的工作，成果豐碩、亮點紛呈，讓我們由衷地感到振奮與自豪。過去一年，全國政協工作卓有成效，在多個方面取得了令人矚目的成績。從協商議政活動來看，全年共舉辦各類協商議政活動98場次，圍繞眾多重大議題深入探討、積極建言，為黨和國家科學決策提供了大量有價值的參考。提案工作同樣成績斐然，收到提案5992件，立案5061件，辦復率高達99.9%，這充分體現了政協委員們積極履職、參政議政的熱情，也展現了政協組織高效務實的工作作風。委員們通過多種形式深入基層、聯繫群眾，真正做到了心繫民生、為民解憂。尤為值得一提的是，全國政協在聚焦「十五五」規劃制定建言獻策方面發揮了關鍵作用。把助力科學制定「十五五」規劃作為2025年重要任務，召開專題議政性常委會會議，主席會議成員牽頭圍繞重大戰略性前瞻性問題開展專題研究54項，形成一批高質量成果。這一系列舉措，為「十五五」規劃的科學編制貢獻了政協智慧和力量，彰顯了人民政協圍繞中心、服務大局的使命擔當。2026年是「十五五」開局之年，在世界局勢風雲變幻的當下，也是說好中國故事的關鍵一年。人民政協肩負着更為重大的責任與使命。我們要毫不動搖堅持中國共產黨的領導，把牢正確政治方向，將黨的全面領導貫穿政協工作全過程。堅持把黨的創新理論武裝融入日常、抓在經常，提升思想政治引領、廣泛凝聚共識工作實效，通過辦好各類活動，加強對外友好交往，講好中國故事、中國全過程人民民主故事，讓世界更好地了解中國、認識中國。同時，要圍繞「十五五」規劃實施議政建言，緊扣重大任務和戰略舉措深入調查研究、深度協商議政，聚焦重點領域問題，實事求是反映社情民意，以高質量履職成果服務黨和國家中心任務。高SIR認為，全國政協十四屆四次會議的召開，為我們指明了前進的方向。讓我們緊密團結，以更加堅定的信念、更加飽滿的熱情、更加務實的作風，推動人民政協事業高質量發展，為實現「十五五」良好開局，貢獻智慧與力量，共同書寫新時代壯麗篇章！
CPPCC Delivers Effective Performance, Advises on 15th Five-Year Plan, and Marks a Key Year for Telling China’s Stories Well
The Fourth Session of the 14th National Committee of the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC) opened on the afternoon of March 4 at the Great Hall of the People in Beijing. Attending CPPCC members reviewed and adopted the agenda, and heard the work report of the Standing Committee and the report on proposals since the Third Session.
This session is a major event in China’s political life and a milestone for the development of the CPPCC. The work report delivered by Chairman Wang Huning comprehensively reviewed fruitful achievements over the past year. A total of 98 consultation and deliberation activities were held, providing valuable input for state decision-making. Of 5,992 proposals received, 5,061 were placed on file with a 99.9% reply rate, demonstrating members’ active performance of duties and the body’s efficient work style. Members also engaged with the public to address people’s needs.
The CPPCC played a key role in advising on the formulation of the 15th Five-Year Plan (2026–2030) as a core task in 2025. It held special standing committee meetings and launched 54 research projects, contributing high-quality insights to the plan’s drafting.
As 2026 marks the start of the 15th Five-Year Plan and a crucial year for telling China’s stories, the CPPCC shoulders greater responsibilities. It will uphold the Party’s leadership, strengthen theoretical study, and enhance ideological guidance. Through exchanges and outreach, it will better tell the stories of China and whole-process people’s democracy to the world. It will continue to advise on plan implementation, conduct in-depth research, reflect public opinion, and support national priorities with high-quality performance.
The Fourth Session charts a clear path forward. United in solidarity, we will strive for high-quality development of the CPPCC, contribute to a sound start of the 15th Five-Year Plan, and write a magnificent new chapter in the new era.
