According to Deutsche Welle, Lufthansa located the award at Frankfurt Airport and confirmed it is safe.
The carrier has apologized and is now arranging its return to the director.

據紀錄片另一導演David Borenstein於4月30日在社交網站講述，Pavel Talankin乘坐德國漢莎航空（Lufthansa）的航班從紐約約翰甘迺迪國際機場飛往德國法蘭克福，但美國運輸安全管理局（TSA）一名保安檢查人員攔住他，指重約3.8公斤的奧斯卡「小金人」可能會遭用作武器。

寄艙後失蹤 漢莎航空緊急尋找
帖文又稱，漢莎航空回應指非常重視此事，將致力盡快找回奧斯卡獎座。漢莎航空之後在同日宣布，已經找回「小金人」，目前安全地存放在法蘭克福的倉庫，又指「我們正與失主直接聯繫，盡快安排歸還事宜。」
